Current limiter switch assembly - is actuated by electro-dynamic force and has rigid bridge with contacts on either side

A current limiter switch is used. It is designed for actuation by electrodynamic forces. A rigid bridge (11) bears contacts (9) and (10) at either end which abut contacts (7) and (8) when the switch is conducting. The bridge also carries a central locking piece (25) which is secured by pivoted bales (20) (21) under spring bias (22). Primary pivoted bales (5) and (6) carry contacts (7) and (8), and move under electrodynamic force to abut the bales (20, 21) so releasing the lock and opening the switch.
