In an exhaust gas system for a pulsating burner there is connected a cyclone chamber (17) between the combustion chamber (14) of the pulsating burner and a silencer (19). The cyclone chamber is constructed to form a one-way pressure barrier for the pressure waves in the exhaust gas system, so that the outlet conduit after the silencer can be given an optional, desired length to free atmosphere. At the same time, the cyclone chamber is adapted for preventing condensate therein from causing varying flow resistance for the gas with subsequent operational disturbances. |
