The car transporter has a platform with two wheel tracks for the carried vehicle. The platform has openings, and when the vehicle is stopped the carried vehicle can move to the platform upper level. The openings are made in the wheel tracks. The platform is flat (12) and, to the rear of this, has an inclined section (9). The flat section extends to just behind the carrying vehicle rear wheels (10). The inclined position has a length approx. that of the carried vehicle.
