<p>Control appts. monitors a paper web during a run through a rotary printing machine. It maintains an accurate length of web w.r.t. each rotation of the printing cylinder for repeated impressions or punching. A pulse generator(12) at the start of the control path runs synchronously with the guide pin wheel(11). At the end of the control path a pulse generator(14) is installed to be driven by the paper web. Each generator(12, 14) is connected to its own store(15, 17). The difference between the pulses is continuously displaced on e.g. digital indicators(16, 18).</p> |
