Vehicle incorporates a system whereby water from the sludge tank is filtered and piped to a fresh water tank to supply the drain-cleansing jets. Automatic transfer of water between the tanks is affected by a float (37) - controlled valve (25) through which air is pumped into the sludge tank (1). Water is forced through the filter (39) and the pipe (20) into the jet supply tank (11). Non-return valves (36, 38) are provided in the pipe (20) between the tanks and in the sludge suction pipe (3).
