A gas intake housing directs hot gases to the turbine which drives the compressor. A fluid cooled housing discharges the exhaust gas from the turbine and includes a framework defined by two spaced flanges and by a longitudinal thin-walled element connecting them. The spaces between these elements accommodates thin panels defining jointly with the thin walled elements the external wall of the housing. The inner wall of the housing is made in the form of thin walled sheet longitudinally trough-shape which is secured to the flanges and forming a space with the external wall for the circulation of cooling fluid.
