<p>The control valve consists of a plastics, profiled knob with hollow cylindrical cut out which accommodates the spindle and bush of the valve assembly. The tapered end of the cap has a number of circular slots (2) to facilitate cutting the knob to length to suit the valve gear. The knob is also equipped with a set of inserts (6) which comprise square washers with square round or polygonal cut outs to accommodate the shank of the various types of valve spindle. In addition, the knob has a set of threaded bushes (8) and matching fixing screws (5) by which the control knob may be attached to a variety of spindle types. This universal knob is therefore suitable for mounting to a large number of radiator valve types.</p> |
