<p>The spinning top(3) includes a circular top disc(3a) which is provided with a transparent sector(3g). A similar size disc, underneath the top disc, is also transparent and has several segments of different colour patterns(3c, 3d). When the spinning top is rotating, the colour pattern that is visible through the transparent sector of the top disc, produces circular rings which seem to be suspended in free space. Different patterns can be made visible by moving the two discs relative to each other. Both cover discs in the covering area are congruent with the top fitting.</p> |
