<p>The machine is particularly for strapping packets of labels using a shrinkable plastic strap. The packets are indexed into a welding station, welded inside a loop of strap and then ejected. To shrink the welded straps (10), a heater element (13) is brought into action against one or more sides of the packet (8) after the welding station (4), being either movable in relation to the stationary packet, or activated as this ejected. This directs heat onto the strap, preferably by means of hot air.</p> |
