Helicopter rotor blade control system - has HF generator coupled to rotor shaft to drive trigger-plate with impulse pick=ups delivering signals to band-pass filters

The system for cyclically varying rotor blade incidence angles in a helicopter, is based on a conventional swash-plate arrangement. A high frequency generator positively coupled to the rotor shaft drives a trigger plate with two fixed impulse pickups 90 deg. apart and aligned to produce respectively pure Cosine-and Sine-voltages relative to the rotor position. Bandpass filters separate these rotor speed harmonics into various Sine- and Cosine-components, usable for either automatic or programmed suppression of rotor vibrations.
