<p>The auxiliary steering gear (7) consists of two epicyclic gears (11, 12) combined into a single unit (13). The single unit is arranged offset to the drive shaft (5) enabling the planetary train ring gear (29) to be turned by a bevel gear (21, 22). The planet wheels (23, 26) are braked by the steering gear (14) for straight ahead drive.</p> |
