PURPOSE:To obtain a wire dot printer provided with an excellent radiating effect and capable of performing high-speed printing, by incorporating into a continuous body a radiating board, which is provided in contact with a yoke, and another radiating board provided to also serve the purpose of an ink ribbon guide fixed onto a cariage. CONSTITUTION:A radiating board 16 is provided in such a condition as to be in contact with a yoke on which plural electromagnets are coaxially fixed. By keeping this radiating board 16 in contact with an intermediate radiating board 17, the radiating board 17 is connected by a bolt 19 with a ribbon guide 18 which also serves the purpose of a radiating board, and further, by keeping this ink ribbon guide, which also serves the purpose of a radiating board, in contact with a carriage 15, it is fixed onto the carriage 15 by a bolt 20, and consequently, a printing head as a whole is fixed onto this carriage 15. Because of using such a construction, heat generating in a coil is transferred from a steel core to the yoke, and then, it is dissipated in the air through the radiating boards 16, 17 and 18 or it is transferred to the carriage 15, so that the printing head is prevented from rising in the temperature, and therefore, the printing head 1 is kept at a constant temperature. |
