PURPOSE:To reduce the amt. of an aq. soln. of an alkali chloride to be purified in electrolysis of the alkali chloride using an ion exhcnage membrane, by circulating part of effluent from an anode chamber to the chamber through an evaporator and dissolving raw salt inthe remaining effluent and/or water after which the soln. is purified and supplied to the chamber. |
