<p>The heading tape fits on various types of curtain rod. The tape comprises >=1 strand which slides into sheaths or guides woven into the tape at regular intervals. Pockets are also supplied along the tape at regular intervals to receive hooks for the 'silent track' type of curtain runner. On one or both sides of the tape, loops are provided which are longer than the width of tape supporting them. The loops are intended to slide directly on to curtain rods of any size. They comprise mono- or multifilament weft float yarns of e.g. nylon, polyester or polypropylene, free to stand away from the woven tape, by constructing the floats of a length much greater than the tape width.</p> |
