摘要 The homogeneous solid food prod. suitable for long period storage at ambient temp. is constituted by (a) protein extracts of milk from which most of the soluble mineral salts have been removed and (b) a food substance chosen from glucides and flours. The two components are in anhydrous fine powder form such that the components cannot be tasted separately as particles. The powder mixt. is dispersed in a fatty body texturising agent. The prod. is prepd. by sepg. the protein from skimmed milk for example by ultrafiltration or electrodialysis, then spray drying the extract. Both (a) and (b) are ground to about 25 mu particle size and then mixed with a fat heated to keep it liq. The homogeneous paste is then cooled to ambient temp. to solidify the prod. The prod. may be used to prepare a wide variety of savoury or dessert dishes. It is highly nutritive with a perfect balance of energy and proteins foods, requires onyy simple packaging and does not require cold storage.
