Cold-washing textile detergent compsn. - contains amino-hydroxy-stearic acid ester and anionic, nonionic and/or zwitterionic surfactant

Textile detergent compsn. contains an anionic, nonionic and/or zwitter-ionic surfactant (A) and 0.3-3 (0.5-2.5) wt.% aminohydroxystearic acid ester having formula (CH2)6-COOR3 (I) (where n=1 and a=7 (pref.), or n=2 and a=4, or n=3 and a=1; R1 and R2 are H, 1-12C alkyl, 2-15C hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl and R3 is 1-5C alkyl, esp. Me). Wt. ratio (A): (I) is 50:1-2:1 (30:1-2:1). The compsns. can be used in cold water, e.g. tap water, at 10-30(15-25) degrees C. The addn. of (I) synergetically increases washing power of (A) at low temps., surfactant and phosphate proportions can be reduced. Detergent compsn. for washing cotton or cotton/polyester at 20 degrees C. contained 1% Me 9(10)-amino-10(9)-hydroxystearate, 8% Na dodecylbenzyl sulphonate and 3% tallow alcohol + 7 C2H4O.
