A thermometric probe has a small size and weight for use in medicine, and also has a low response time. The probe has an electrical coil (2) insulated and embedded in a coil holder (1). The holder (1) is made of good thermally conductive materials and constitutes the tip of the probe. The coil (2) is made of copper wire. The tip (1) of the probe is fitted to a support (7). The support (7) also carries two terminals (5, 6). The terminals (5, 6) are connected to the coil (2) lead-outs (3, 4) and to conductors of a cable (10). The cable (10) is in turn connected to an indicating meter. The tip (1) of the probe is also supported by a tubular case (8) made of a material with low thermal conductivity.
