<p>The conveyor indexing mechanism is particularly for delivering flowerpots etc. to a filling machine. It comprises a roller (10) with its axis parallel to the travel direction of the conveyor (2), and whose length is at least equal to the indexing distance. In the roller a groove is formed, opening into both of its end faces and running part way round the periphery. Bosses (9) on the conveyor engage in the groove. Rollers(10, 10') of different diameters can be used, working with alternate bosses(2r, 2r') of different lengths, and which can have roller heads(13). The roller drive can be coupled to one or more drives for other mechanisms.</p> |
