PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for providing a service using a social group community function.SOLUTION: A method includes: transmitting information on a list of chat rooms, among a plurality of chat rooms managed by a social network service, associated with a content providing service to a service server 130 in response to a request from the service server providing the service accessed by a user 110 of the social network service; receiving, from the service server, information on a chat room selected by the user from the list of chat rooms and information on links therefrom; and providing the link information to participants of the selected chat room through the selected chat room.
