<p>The limit switch is for a rope drum with grooves to hold the innermost rope windings. A sensor pin (3) under spring tension is countersunk into the groove selected for the last permissible turn of the rope (2a), with the sensor pin adjustable radially within the body of the drum. The sensor pin has an operating connection with a switch pin (6) also under spring tension and adjustable within the drum's body in an axial direction. One end of the switch pin projects from the front surface of the drum's body, and actuates an electric sensor when the last permissible rope turn leaves the corresponding groove.</p> |
