<p>The loudspeaker coil assembly includes two additional coils (2, 3), one on each side of the normal coil (1). The end of one additional coil (2) remote from the normal coil (1) is connected to the end of the other additional coil (3) adjacent the normal coil (1). The other ends of the additional coils are connected together. The lead interconnecting the additional coils may include a variable resistor for damping the current flowing through the additional coils. The additional coils have the effect that excessive movements of the coil system are damped.</p> |
