Building elements are mass-produced with suitable thrust connection surfaces, preventing relative displacements and twisting of the surface serrated units under normal pressure. Thrust lamellae made from flat sheet metal plates (2), or similar, are worked into elements with low shear resistance, shaped along the joint surface so as to take over shear connection. They are fitted in connection with spacers so that interfacing elements to be connected lie in a single plane. This facilitates production of statically monolithic structures from prefabricated mass-produced elements, and connection of elements made from different materials.
