The closure has a body (1) which can be fitted onto the tube neck or bottle neck and has an opening which can be closed by a slide (5). In order that the slide can be operated conveniently with one hand, the opening is constructed as an outlet channel (7) and the slide (5) is provided with sliding feet (6, 6').
