The device is particularly suitable for the continuous drying of rolling dough articles. It is provided with an eddying channel (1) having an air-permeable bottom (2) and having an inlet aperture (20) and an outlet aperture (21) for the product. To reduce the constructional dimensions and to optimise the energy consumption, provision is made for the air line (26) from the eddying channel (1) to be constructed as a circulating-air channel and to be connected again at the bottom to the eddying channel (1) via the air generator (8). Provision is furthermore made for an air pulsator (9) to be arranged in the circulating air channel. <IMAGE>
