<p>A lifting device suitable for unloading heavy weights from vehicles has a frame in the shape of an inverted V with extensions at the front and rear, the load being raised and lowered from the top. Wheels are positioned front and rear inside the extensions, and forming part of a tricycle wheel arrangement. The top of the V frame can be connected to a cross member to stabilise it, this member being curved, and connected to a jockey wheel. The sloping members can carry telescopic stabilisers to rest against the ground to increase the lifting capacity. The housing for the jockey wheel can be mounted under a frame with connections for a traction vehicle.</p> |
