A movable, multistage particle separator comprises a cyclone separator, a linear separator, and a pair of vertical air exit channels from the linear separator leading to a respective filter chamber located on each side of the linear separator. Used for collection of wet or dry sand, metal and wood chips, gravel, slag, cement, plastic pellets or mill scale. The splitting of the airstreams into two on leaving the linear separator allows a more efficient transfer without interference with the incoming stream. The appts. is compact and mobile.
