<p>An automatic device for processing of plates or boards of wood or wood derivatives, partic for milling or boring using the "Folding" process, has feed devices (22, 26) to convey the plate parallel to the feed direction and sets of boring tools (6) which process the plate attached above the point machine section. At least two sequentially arranged milling devices (7) are attached behind the boring tools (6). A sensor device (8) situated after the milling devices (7) detects the presence of a milled cut in the plate and allows release of the plate from the processing system. The relative positions of the tools and sensor are determined by the size of the finished article.</p> |
