<p>The safety belt non-return damping device has, instead of the crank-operated unlocking system, a tubular key which can be instantaneously released in all positions. This is formed by a disc with an extended hollow hub of square section corresponding to the square section of the notched roller spindle in the damping device. The disc works in a housing whose two bores act as bearings. A tube is fixed to a part of the housing periphery at a point where the housing has a port of the same bore as the tube, while the other end of the latter is tapped. A screw with head welded to a knurled tube is turned by rotating the latter manually so as to lock the disc by the screw pressure, acting via an intervening push-rod.</p> |
