Dangerous waste disposal system in ground - uses sealed and covered trench compressed before covering with arable land

The system allows safe disposal of dangerous material such as asbestos waste without risk of pollution. A fully sealed trench is formed to take the material, which is then covered with a hermetic sealing layer, after which the whole is compressed to a minimum pressure of 4000 kg per sq. metre, and then covered with a layer of arable land. The excavation is made in clay, which is used for the covering layer. The basic hydrated alumina silicate of the clay causes natural bio-degradation of any toxic material, while the natural stratification and compression produces a long-life shist which will retain the asbestos in the mineral state.
