<p>The slide projector has an automatic slide fading-in mechanism, inserted between an optical system with two objectives and a support for the slide cassette. The two objectives are positioned one above the other so that the respective projection points to which the slides are forwarded are coplanar. The point of removal of a slide from the cassette is located in the same plane as the projection points and a slide is moved between the lower and upper projection points via a rectilinear transport mechanism. A second transport mechanism is used to transport a slide in a circular path between the upper projection point and the slide removal and reinsertion point. Pref. each transport mechanism comprises a gripper with pivoted fixed and movable jaws.</p> |
