The wrist watch includes adjustable marking elements, used to indicate time points at which a given action is required, e.g. the taking of medicaments. The marking elements are movable along a path concentric to the centre of the watch face into alignment with the given time points, with a control indicator(43) rotating independently about the centre of the watch face into alignment with each marking element in succession. Pref. the marking elements comprise index clips(33, 34) movable around the edge of one or more transparent discs(31, 32) around the periphery of the watch face and lying parallel to the watch glass(30).
