<p>The film editing machine includes a synchronising mechanism, for transport of the film web and the corresponding sound-track, via two toothed transport drums which are mounted on a common shaft and which can be selectively coupled together for mutual rotation. The machine can be adapted for use with different film formats via fitting interchangeable elements to a standard base element. Pref. the interchangeable elements are fitted to the base in such a way that they are automatically caused to rotate in the correct direction. The transport drums as well as different types of viewer and sound-track unit may be interchangeable.</p> |
