<p>The converter type electrical heating element has an electrical resistance (4) surrounded by powdered magnesium or steatite (5), all being enclosed in an alloy tube (3). The magnesium or steatite (5) is in direct contact with the resistance (4) and the side of the alloy tube (3). On either side of the tube (3) are heating conducting plates (2) on which fins (7) are formed. Various arrangements of heating elements can be formed from single or multiple resistance tubes.</p> |
