PURPOSE:To obtain a picture recording device which prevents toner from being stuck to and deposited on a recording head by eliminating a fluctuation in stylus position on a recording medium surface, rocking the recording head to change the contacting condition between a head surface and the medium surface, and to release the toner stuck to the head surface. CONSTITUTION:The bent recording head 5 rocks through the movement of a pin 34 corresponding to the upward and downward movement of the power shaft of a solenoid type actuator 37. Toner T1 carried by a recording medium 2 sticks to the surface of the recording head 5, but the contacting angle between the recording medium surface and recording head surface varies according to the inclination of the head 5 and sticking toner T2 is released from the head surface. Even while the recording head 5 slants, toner T3 sticks to the head surface, but when the head 5 returns to its normal position, the contacting condition between the recording medium surface and recording head surface changes and the stuck toner T3 is released from the recording head surface. Thus, the sticking and separation of the toner are repeated according to the rocking of the recording head 5 to prevent the toner from being stuck to and deposited on the surface of the head 5. |
