PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a product bottle at a high temperature by a method wherein a heated bottomed tubular parison made of polyester resin is biaxially oriented in a mold of which the surface of a mold cavity is kept at a temperature of 120 to 170 deg.C, and subjected to blow molding to be shaped in a bottle. CONSTITUTION:A pressurized gas being introduced under pressure from an introduction port 5, an orientation rod 7 is lowered to orient a heated bottomed tubular parison to be two to three times larger in the axial direction and three to four times larger in the circumferential direction. The outer surface of a bottle obtained by blow molding is in contact with the cavity surface of a mold heated to a temperature of 120 to 170 deg.C and the wall of the bottle is subjected to heat treatment. Next, air is introduced from an introduction port 8, passed through a porous part 9 and introduced between the outer surface of the bottle 10 and the cavity surface of the mold. The introduced air or the like diffuses onto the entire surface of the bottle in a short time, a coolant layer 11 of uniform thickness is formed thereby, heat conduction from the mold is intercepted, and thus the entire surface of the bottle 10 is cooled down in a short time. |
