Modular transportable house in container-size sections - has floor panels folded against module outer walls for transit reinforcement

The transportable house is delivered on site in modules of freight container size whereby panels for the formation of floors additional to the container-size module are hinged to the module outer walls, where they perform a reinforcing role during transit. Typically a pair of floor panels (5) are hinged to the house module (2). The panel nearer the module wall is hinged at ground level, and the second panel hinged to the first at roof level. They unfold to form the floor area (1) shown in broken line. The floor panels comprise boards fixed to a wooden frame, sections of which are hinged together with bolts or bendable metal strips.
