<p>The clothes hanger consists of a hook from which two arms diverge in two opposite directions. At the free ends of the arms are pairs of jaws for gripping the article of clothing, such as trousers. The jaw pairs are held tightly against one another by means of a spring and can be parted. The jaws are turned in at their free ends in opposite directions to form an angle. They extend almost at right angles to the lengthwise direction of the arms. They have protuberances extending in opposite directions midway along their lengthwise part.</p> |
