The height adjustable bath panels (9) are designed to be held against the edge of the bath by base plates (10) which rest on the ground off-set relative to the bath tub and by set screws (12) which are each rotatably mounted in a plate (11) and supported on the uppr edge of the base or plinth plates (10). Each plate (11) has an angled arm (15) which is connected to the side panel (9) and an angled second arm (18) which is guided laterally over the base plate and has an oblong hole (19) through which tightening screws (20) can be passed. The panels can be used for any type of bath without relying on a special type of bath foot. The first arm (15) of the plate can have a row of bores so as to adapt to different bath heights.
