The folded box with carrying handle has a closing flap attached to a first lengthwise wall and formed with a lug inserted near the opposite lengthwise wall. Cover flaps are attached to the end walls. A plate is inserted below these flaps, having a handle protruding through a slot in the closing flap. Below the latter (12) is a support flap (17) extending across the middle part of the top, attached to the opposite sidewall, and also with a slot (26) for the handle (32), and a lug (18) inserted alongside the first sidewall. The lug (13) on the closing flap has a recess cut in it to accommodate this second lug (18).
