<p>Aldoxime carbamates of formula (I) Az-CR1R2-CH=N.-OCONR3R4, their salts and metal complexes are new. In (I), R1 and R2 = alkyl or together complete an alkylene bridge. R3 = H or alkyl. R4 = H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, alkoxyalkyl or alkylthioalkyl. Az = opt. substd. azolyl. Also new are the intermediates of formula Az-CR1R2.CH=N-OH (II). (II) are converted to (I) by reaction with R4NCO, R3R4NCOHal or MOCN (M = Na, K or NH4). (I) are insecticides, acaricides and nematocides more effective than cpds. of similar structure and with low toxicity to animals. They are useful in agricultural, forestry, protection of stored goods, and in hygienic applications. In an example, 2-(imidazol-1-yl)-2-methyl-1-methyl-carbamoyloximino-propane was made from CH3NCO and the corresp. 1-oximino-propane.</p> |
