Slot closures insertion tool - puts closures in stator slots at same time as windings using hooks or stars at finger ends

The tool is used for inserting closures into winding slots of an electrical machine stator. It is modified in that the closures are inserted easily and without damage when the windings are introduces into the slots. The modification is accomplished by making the fingers (36) cooperate with certain parts (55, 57) that engage the closure (56). The parts may be hooks (55) on and at the ends of the fingers or that may be stars (57) separate from the fingers.
