The angle of inclination of the sound unit is approximately 30 deg. to 70 deg. to the horizontal. If the unit is a record-player, the turntable (4) is inclined. The amplifier and/or receiver (2) and a cassette tape recorder (3) have together the same height as the record-player (1). The cassette tape recorder of smaller depth may be placed on top of the deeper amplifier or receiver. Under the turntable there may be a centring stop (15) for the record edge. The centring pin of the turntable is conical, so that the distance between its tip and the centring stop is smaller than the record radius.
