<p>Plastics window frame has, at its lower portion, an outside protective bar that covers the outside surface of that frame portion. A spacer is arranged between protective bar and outer surface of the frame portion. The bar is supported elastically, over its entire length, w.r.t. the lower frame portion which is fitted with connectors that enage a suitably shaped guide in the back of the bar. Spacer and connectors are formed by >=1 row of nipples. The protective bar is a profile made of plastics, Al or wood. The prod. is intended to protect the lower part of a plastics window frame against the degradations by direct heat and sunlight to which that part is normally more exposed than the remainder of the frame.</p> |
