PURPOSE:To prevent a voltage applied to each heat generating resistor from varying due to different voltage drops and prevent printing quality from being deteriorated, by a wiring construction wherein the wiring resistance of a common electrode between adjacent ones of heat generating resistors and that between adjacent ones of driving elements are substantially equivalent, and the sum of the wiring resistance from one power source terminal to the heat generating resistor and the wiring resistance from the other power source terminal to the driving element is substantially equal for each of the heat generating resistors. CONSTITUTION:Wiring resistances r1, r2, r3...r6 of a common electrode 1 between each adjacent pair of heat generating resistors R1, R2, R3...R7 and wiring resistances r11, r12, r13...r16 of a common electrode 2 between each adjacent pair of driving elements T1, T2, T3...T7 are equal, because the widths of the common electrodes 1, 2, are equal to each other and the heat generating resistors R are arranged at regular intervals. All of total wiring resistances A1, A2, A3...A7 for the heat generating resistors R1, R2, R3...R7 from one power source terminal 1a to the other power source terminal 2a are ra + 6r + rb. As a result, the voltage drop due to the wiring resistance is substantially equal for each of the heat generating resistors R1, R2, R3...R7, and accordingly, the voltage applied to the heat generating resistor is substantially equal for each of the heat generating resistors. |
