Therapeutically active compounds of the formula <IMAGE> in which R<1> and R<2>, independently of each other, denote hydrogen, halogen, methyl or methoxy, or, together, form a methylenedioxy group, and R<3> denotes hydrogen or lower alkyl, and their physiologically tolerated acid addition salts, are obtained by reacting an amine with a halide and, where appropriate, subsequently converting the resulting free base using an acid. The novel compounds exhibit useful pharmacological properties, in particular those of lowering blood pressure. They are suitable in the form of solutions for use for injection purposes, and preferably in the form of pharmaceutical preparations which are to be administered orally for use in the treatment of chronic hypertension. |
