POWER SUPPLY METHOD FOR CARRIER SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To perform a power supply avoiding useless supply by making a power supply for each station equipment controllable individually or by each group. CONSTITUTION:A carrier control unit 20 instructs operating modes such as start and stop, adjustable speed characteristics and others to respective station controllers 131-13n through a station control line 18. Each of station controllers 131-13n performs a travel control of carrier 10 in its station 121-12n according to said instruction. The carrier control unit 20 also controls selectively feed to power units 141-14n of respective station equipments 151-15n and stops feed to a station equipment which is unused and does not participate in a travel control. Said feed control to the power units 141-14n is performed individually or by each group. In this manner, a power supply avoiding uneless supply can be conducted.
