PURPOSE:To correctly indicate the shape of the moon and to permit expression of the three-dimensional feel of the moon and the cosmic sensation by rotating a revolving shaft of a spherical body at the speed at which one round is decelerated to 29.5 days. CONSTITUTION:This timepiece is constituted of a dial 7, a watch movement 8, an hour hand 9, a minute hand 10, a second hand 11, the spherical body 12, etc. The surface of the spherical body 12 is colored dark in the half part and bright in the opposite half part. The revolving shaft 17' is provided on the line connecting a boundary line 15 and the center of the spherical body 12. The rotation of the hands of the timepiece is decelerated by a speed reducing means 17 and the spherical body is so rotated as to make one round in 29.5 days. The timepiece, the bright part and dark part of which correctly indicate the actual condition of the moon, is thereby obtd. |
