Hand throttle for industrial truck - has ratchets for coarse setting and threaded sleeve for fine setting

The hand control for the vehicle throttle has a pull out knob (9) operating on a Bowden cable (4). A series of ratchet markings (7) is provided on the shaft of the knob to set the throttle position. For fine control the knob is twisted to operate in a threaded sleeve. The twisting action of the throttle also operates the engine switch off control as well as adjusting the idling speed. The control combines rapid control with a fine adjustment.
