<p>An explosive compsn. comprising a suspension contg. water, an oxidising inorganic salt, a combustible component, a thickener and a sensitising amt. of immobilised finely dispersed gas bubbles, is improved by using a combination of non-modified cyamopsis (I) gum and hydroxy-propylated cyamopsis gum (II) as thickener. The compsn. has a stable density as migration and disappearance of the bubbles are prevented. The compsn. is partic. suitable for the bulk loading of large dia.mine holes.</p> |
