<p>The cylindrical tank is of a cast or moulded construction and is for the storage of liquid under pressure esp. in refrigeration plants. The tank comprises a tubular casing (1) closed by a cover (34) and having at least two bosses (9, 18) incorporating apertures (8, 19) for sealed connections. The tank may be of aluminium alloy or synthetic material and may have a cellular construction with radial walls extending between a central core tube (4) and the casing (1). A transparent inspection window (10) may be incorporated in the wall of the casing (1) and opening onto a fluid-drawing tube (6) which extends to the cover (34) level.</p> |
